Right it is all about blends for today and I have to say blending essential oils is one of my favourite topic. There are pre-blended essential oils and blends that you can mix on your own using only a therapeutic-grade essential oil.
Pre-blended blends such as Joy, Stress Away, Thieves, Digize & RC to name a few. These pre-blended essential oils are carefully & thoughtfully prepared to give and provide the best combination of goodness for support. Take for example, Joy. Joy is a luxuriously exotic blend with an uplifting overtones that create magnetic energy and brings Joy to any heart. The exotic blend in Joy are Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Lemon, Mandarin, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile and Rose. Indeed what a wonderful blend.

The love of blending essential oils have not only won my heart but also that of my husband. Having been introduced and having access to various essential oils, it is to my surprise that my husband created his very own blend which he calls “Cava Musk” serum and he says with confidence and and a big smile. This serum is used after a facial wash. So, I’d like to share his lovely blend which can also be use not only for men but for ladies as well.

Frankincense – Great support for a good skin care, helps elevate all that is related to burns, rashes, cuts, scrapes and oozing sores. Fabulous for mature skin.

Orange – Orange essential oil is a natural antiseptic and anti inflammatory which makes it an ideal ingredient in skin and hair routine. This oil isnt just for acne prone skin though it has been shown to increase the ability to absorb vitamin C, collagen production and blood flow, all of which are essential for anti-aging.

Cedarwood – Cedar wood has a warm and rather musky woody aroma that create a calming and and uplifting experience at the same time. Cedarwood is also known to be high in sesquiterpenes at 98% which means that it supposedly can deprogram wrong info in the cells and bring more oxygen to the cells. Cedarwood also supports deep sleep, stimulates melatonin and supposedly releases old memories that hinder the present.

Bergamot – Bergamot has a citrusy and floral aroma note to it.
To many it is the flavour in Earl Grey tea. Bergamot is uplifting and relaxing. It’s aroma enhances your mood and build confidence and has a long history of use to support oily and troubled skin.

Enjoy the blend and I will share more blends for the next reading.

Love,
Arnie

Why Thieves and How will it benefit my family?

Why Thieves and how will this benefit your family in the Long run.

Let’s begin with the brief history of Thieves and how the thieves essential oil came about. The history and healing of Thieves essential oil is rather an interesting tale!

http://ww12.younglivingcircle.com

While there are a few versions of the story they all center around one event, which is the Bubonic Plague. It is said that, during that time, four thieves went from house to house to rob those who had succumbed to the illness. After the thieves were captured and tried for their acts of robbery, a judge offered leniency if they would share how they were able to be around those afflicted long and often enough to rob them but not be affected by the illness. It’s interesting to note here that, during this time of the plague striking Europe, physicians were seen wearing long black robes, wide brimmed hats, and masks that appeared to have a beak. The reason for doing this is that the masks were said to have contained a combination of herbs and spices that the physicians would breathe in order to keep themselves safe from those afflicted with the illness. Their long black robes were also said to be doused in a similar fragrant concoction and current research continues to build upon this theory.

THE HEALING POWER OF the herbs & spices

How did the thieves stay healthy and what were the herbs and spices used in the masks of the physicians? During the 15th century plague the thieves used these ingredients :

Cloves, Rosemary and other aromatics to protect themselves while robbing the victims. Thieves essential oil was then created from the research about the four thieves. Thieves is a proprietary blend of pure essential oils tested at Weber State University, Ogden Utah and it was found to have a 99.96 percent rate against airborne bacteria.

Young living Thieves oil:

So what we do know, through extensive use and trial with the Thieves essential oil blend from Young Living is that a powerful combination of clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, and rosemary have been found to be strong enough to reduce bacterial cultures by 99.96%! This blend was created after years of research results indicated that most viruses, fungi, and bacteria cannot live in the presence of some essential oils.

While I’ve seen the use of Thieves in room sprays (by combining distilled water with 15 drops of the oil) or by rubbing a few drops of the oil on the soles of the feet, there is an entire line of products which highlight the blend. Other way to attain the amazing benefits of Thieves is to add the blend to a diffuser, use the lozenges, or even add one drop of the Thieves Vitality Oil to a glass of water to drink.

The legend behind the oil is as unique as the ability it has to support your immune system. Though it is a small bottle of oil, the power of Thieves is worth every cent for all season. If you use an anti-bacterial soap in your kitchen or bathroom year-round, why not consider making it Thieves Foaming Hand Soap without all the harsh chemicals? Young Living also created Thieves toothpaste and even a household cleaner containing the powerful blend!  I’ve seen testimonies on the benefits of Thieves myself and have used the product to help support my immune system and stay strong while others around me experienced discomfort.
